Handling of funds: pursuant to Article 53-9° of Law no. 71-1130 and Articles 229 and 235-2 of Decree no. 91-1197, any sum received on behalf of third parties passes exclusively through the CARPA of Paris (Caisse des règlements pécuniaires des avocats), 6 rue Saint-Florentin, 75001 Paris. Online payment

This website allows payment by bank card of fees, retainers, costs and disbursements owed to the firm, excluding any sum held on behalf of third parties, which falls exclusively within the CARPA.

Payment provider: card payments are processed through Up2pay e-Transactions, operated by Crédit Agricole Payment Services, 83 boulevard des Chênes, B.P. 48, 78042 Guyancourt Cedex, France, RCS Versailles 723 001 467, a payment institution authorised by the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR).

Security: no bank card data is collected, processed or stored by the firm. Card details are entered directly on the provider's secure servers, with strong customer authentication (PSD2 / 3-D Secure).

Fee agreement: pursuant to Article 10 of Law no. 71-1130 of 31 December 1971, a written fee agreement is concluded with the client, except in cases of urgency, force majeure or full legal aid. Online payment does not replace the signing of that agreement and does not constitute acceptance of the case: the firm's involvement remains subject to prior verification of the absence of conflicts of interest under Article 4 of the RIN. If the firm is unable to act, sums paid are refunded in full.

Governing law and jurisdiction

This website and this legal notice are governed by French law.

Fee disputes fall under the special procedure set out in Articles 174 et seq. of Decree no. 91-1197 of 27 November 1991 (referral to the President of the Paris Bar).

For other disputes, failing amicable resolution or successful mediation, the French courts have jurisdiction. Consumer clients retain in any event the benefit of the protective jurisdiction rules laid down by the French Consumer Code and by Regulation (EU) no. 1215/2012.
